TC Management (TCM) got the USATF Outdoor Championships started today on the first full day of competition here in Sacramento, CA. To kick Day 2 of the Championships off was Natasha Hastings in the Women’s 400m Prelims. Hastings won heat 2 with a time of 51.48 placing her #4 overall going into the 400m Semifinals tomorrow, Friday June 27th at 7:35pm PST.

Next for TCM was the Men’s 400m Dash with two entries, new member Mike Berry and Calvin Smith Jr. Running 45.43, Mike Berry placed himself as the #5 qualifier finishing 2nd in heat 2. Calvin Smith Jr. qualified for the Semifinals with a time of 46.16 to grab one of the 4 time qualifiers after finishing 4th in heat 3. Both men move on to tomorrows Semifinals at 7:52pm PST.

The Women’s 100m Dash started at 7pm today, June 26th, and two TCM member raced for qualifying spots. The ladies 100m battled a constant headwind throughout the Prelims. Chelsea Hayes raced in heat 2 and ran 11.70 (-1.5 m/s)  finishing 5th in her heat. Candyce McGrone dashed to 11.58 (-1.2 m/s) finishing 4th in heat 4 and just missing the last time qualifier spot ending up 17th overall.

In the Men’s 100m Dash TCM had 3 members sprinting into the Semifinals. From heat 1, Sean McLean sprinted to 10.29 (-0.9 m/s) the #5 time of the day. Mike Rodgers and Calesio Newman both raced in heat 4. Mike Rodgers won the heat in the fastest time of the day, 10.11 (0.3 m/s). Calesio Newman finished 3rd in the heat in 10.41 (0.3 m/s) securing the automatic spot.

TC Management heads into Day 3 tomorrow, June 27th, with the Women’s 100m Hurdles Prelims and Women’s 400m Semifinals. On Men’s side, 100m Semifinals and Finals and Men’s 400m Semifinals. Good Luck and see you at the Track!
