It is Day 3 here at USATF Outdoor Championship in Sacramento California. Today holds the first final for TC Management (TCM), Men’s 100m Dash, along with the first round of the Women’s 100m hurdles and the Semifinals for both the Men’s and Women’s 400m.
To start the day off for TCM, Candice Price will open up in the Women’s 100m Hurdles Prelim at 5:25pm PST. Candice will run in Heat 3 from lane 6 as she competes for one for the 4 automatic spots in her heat to advance to the Semifinal on Saturday, June 28th.
Next on the track will be the 3 TCM Men’s 100m Semifinalist. In Semifinal 1, Mike Rodgers enters lane 4 as the top qualifier from the Prelim heats yesterday. In Semifinal 2, Calesio Newman, lane 2, and Sean McLean, lane 6, will sprint for those top 4 spots to advance to Men’s 100m Dash Final tonight at 8:52pm PST.
Natasha Hastings will dash the Women’s 400m from lane 5 in the first of 2 Semifinal vying for a spot in the Final on Saturday afternoon. In the Men’s 400m Dash, Calvin Smith II, will have to battle the field from lane 1 for a spot in the finals from Semifinal 1. Mike Berry will race from lane 5 in Semifinal 2 looking to take one of the 4 slots up for grabs in his race.
