TC Management (TCM) enters Day 5, the last day of competition, at the USATF Outdoor Championships with chances to secure more podium finishes. Today holds the Men’s Long Jump Final, Semifinal and Finals of both the Men’s 200m Dash and the 110m hurdles.

USATF Outdoor Championships Day 4

Mixed day for TC Management (TCM) at USATF Outdoor Championships Day 4

 

Day 4 of the USATF Outdoor Championships started with the Women’s 100m Hurdles Semifinals. Candice Price raced in Semifinal 2 and finished 6th in 13.20, outside of the 4 qualifying spots and did not advance to the final.

Next on the track was the Men’s 200m Dash Prelims featuring 100m Bronze Medalist Sean McLean. Following his performance last night, McLean ran a fast 20.49 to win heat 3 and set himself up as the #3 time of the day. Semifinals will be held at 11:30AM PST on Sunday.

It is Day 4 here in Sacramento, CA at the 2014 USATF Outdoor Championships. Day 4 holds 4 final for TC Management (TCM) in the Women’s Long Jump, Men’s and Women’s 400m Dash, and Women’s 100m Hurdles. Two events have their start today for TCM the Men’s 200m Dash and the Men’s 110m Hurdles.

To start the day for TCM will be Candice Price in the Women’s 100m Hurdles. She will race in Semifinal 2 from lane 2 vying for a top 4 spot to advance to the finals later in the day.

Coming back to the track from a 3rd place finish in the Men’s 100m last night, Sean McLean will start his campaign in the Men’s 200m Dash. McLean will race in Prelim 2 of 4 from lane 8. Calesio Newman is schedule in the first Prelim but we will see if he will contest after he pulled out of the Men’s 100m yesterday.

Following the Men’s 200m Dash Prelims, Omo Osaghae will begin competition in the Men’s 110m Hurdles. He will race from lane 6 in Prelim 2, racing for the top 4 spots to automatically advance to Sunday’s Semifinals.

At 12:15pm PST, the first final of the day for TCM will begin. The Women’s Long Jump will feature Chelsea Hayes in section two of the event.

In the first of 3 track finals, Natasha Hastings will go for gold in the Women’s 400m Dash. She was 3rd overall in yesterdays semifinals and will start from lane 3 for this final. On the men’s side, Mike Berry will race from lane 2 in a very competitive Men’s 400m Dash. Everyone was within half a second of each other in the semifinals yesterday.

To close out the day will be the Women’s 100 Hurdles Final at 2:52pm PST.

USATF Outdoor Championships Day 3

TC Management (TCM) had a successful Day 3 at the USATF Outdoor Championship

 

Day 3 at the Championships for TCM started with the the Women’s 100m Hurdles. Candice Price place 4th in her heat running 13.08 to advance to the semifinals.

Next on the track, Men’s 100m Dash Semifinals. Semifinal 1 had Mike Rodgers, over come 3 false starts before he won in 9.80w (2.4 m/s) to advance to the final later in the evening. In Semifinal 2 Sean McLean raced to a Personal Best and the 4th qualifying spot in 10.13 (1.7 m/s).

Natasha Hastings dashed herself into the Women’s 400m Dash Final with a top 3 finish in her Semifinal in a time 50.68. In the Men’s 400m Dash, Calvin Smith II finished 6th in the 1st Semifinal at 46.08. Mike Berry secured his spot in the final with  the 4th spot in the Semifinal 2 in 45.43.

To close out the day TCM had the Men’s 100m Dash Final. Sprinting into a strong headwind (-1.7 m/s) Mike Rodgers secured the USATF Championship in 10.09. Also on the podium for TCM was Sean McLean in 3rd with a time of 10.26.

Strong finish to Day 3 for TC Management. More to come tomorrow.

USATF Outdoor Championships Day 2

TC Management (TCM) got the USATF Outdoor Championships started today on the first full day of competition here in Sacramento, CA. To kick Day 2 of the Championships off was Natasha Hastings in the Women’s 400m Prelims. Hastings won heat 2 with a time of 51.48 placing her #4 overall going into the 400m Semifinals tomorrow, Friday June 27th at 7:35pm PST.

Next for TCM was the Men’s 400m Dash with two entries, new member Mike Berry and Calvin Smith Jr. Running 45.43, Mike Berry placed himself as the #5 qualifier finishing 2nd in heat 2. Calvin Smith Jr. qualified for the Semifinals with a time of 46.16 to grab one of the 4 time qualifiers after finishing 4th in heat 3. Both men move on to tomorrows Semifinals at 7:52pm PST. Weekly Highlight – June 9th to June 17th

A busy week for TC Management (TCM) both in the US and overseas. Starting with the 11th of June, the Bislett Games (Oslo, Norway)  hosted Natasha Hastings in the 400m. Natasha ran a seasons best of 50.60 for 2nd place.

The Diamond League: New York was the next stop for TCM. Our newest member, Yosiri Urrutia competed in the Triple Jump and placed 3rd with a jump of 13.14m. In the Men’s 400m Hurdles Felix Sanchez ran a seasons best 49.09 for 4th. In the 800m Wesley Vazquez and new member Marilyn Okoro (London, England) both competed. In the Mens 800, Wesley ran 1:45.79 and in the Womens 800m, Marilyn ran 2:01.57 for 3rd. to cap the day off, Natasha Hastings finished 2nd in the 200m with 23.06 which was a wind-legal seasons best.

On June 14th, Dayron Robles ran a season best 13.30 in the Mens 110m Hurdles in Goteborg, Sweden.

Ostava Golden Spike hosted Mike Rodgers and Dayron Robles to races. Dayron finished 7th in 13.76 injuring his hamstring. Mike finished 2nd in 10.08 in the Mens 100m.

Next up for many TCM athletes will be the USA National Championships in Sacramento, California June 25 – June 29th

Weekend Highlight: June 6th – June 8th

A quick highlight from this past weekend, Sean McLean runs 20.49 (0.3 m/s) for 200m in a close race with 4 x 200m World Recorder holder, Jermaine Brown, of Jamaica (20.46). Five men went under the previous All Comers Record of 20.82 at the BVI (British Virgin Islands) Twilight Invitational. For McLean, 20.49 is a new PR. Complete Results
