Mixed day for TC Management (TCM) at USATF Outdoor Championships Day 4

 

Day 4 of theĀ USATF Outdoor Championships started with the Women’s 100m Hurdles Semifinals. Candice Price raced in Semifinal 2 and finished 6th in 13.20, outside of the 4 qualifying spots and did not advance to the final.

Next on the track was the Men’s 200m Dash Prelims featuring 100m Bronze Medalist Sean McLean. Following his performance last night, McLean ran a fast 20.49 to win heat 3 and set himself up as the #3 time of the day. Semifinals will be held at 11:30AM PST on Sunday.

Omo Osaghae was next on the track for TCM. Osaghae placed 4th in heat 2 of the Men’s 110m Hurdles Prelims in a time of 13.62 to advance to the Semifinals Sunday at 12:25PM PST.

On the field, Chelsea Hayes finished 6th with an outdoor wind-legal season best of 6.48m ( 21-3 1/4 ) on her first jump of the competition.

Last events of the day for TCM were the 400m Dashes. In the Women’s 400m Dash, Natasha Hastings, ran a season best 50.53 to secure herself a podium spot in the final. That time was fast enough to secure the bronze medal here at the USATF Championships. On the Men’s side Mike Berry finished in 45.12 for the one lap race to finish in 6th place in a very close race. That was his 3rd fastest time of the year behind his 45.05 and 45.07.

Final day of action will be tomorrow Sunday June 29th.
