Preview USATF Outdoor Championships Day 4

It is Day 4 here in Sacramento, CA at the 2014 USATF Outdoor Championships. Day 4 holds 4 final for TC Management (TCM) in the Women’s Long Jump, Men’s and Women’s 400m Dash, and Women’s 100m Hurdles. Two events have their start today for TCM the Men’s 200m Dash and the Men’s 110m Hurdles.

To start the day for TCM will be Candice Price in the Women’s 100m Hurdles. She will race in Semifinal 2 from lane 2 vying for a top 4 spot to advance to the finals later in the day.

Coming back to the track from a 3rd place finish in the Men’s 100m last night, Sean McLean will start his campaign in the Men’s 200m Dash. McLean will race in Prelim 2 of 4 from lane 8. Calesio Newman is schedule in the first Prelim but we will see if he will contest after he pulled out of the Men’s 100m yesterday.

Following the Men’s 200m Dash Prelims, Omo Osaghae will begin competition in the Men’s 110m Hurdles. He will race from lane 6 in Prelim 2, racing for the top 4 spots to automatically advance to Sunday’s Semifinals.

At 12:15pm PST, the first final of the day for TCM will begin. The Women’s Long Jump will feature Chelsea Hayes in section two of the event.

In the first of 3 track finals, Natasha Hastings will go for gold in the Women’s 400m Dash. She was 3rd overall in yesterdays semifinals and will start from lane 3 for this final. On the men’s side, Mike Berry will race from lane 2 in a very competitive Men’s 400m Dash. Everyone was within half a second of each other in the semifinals yesterday.

To close out the day will be the Women’s 100 Hurdles Final at 2:52pm PST.
