This Week for TC Management:
This week the IAAF Diamond League returns to American Soil at the Prefontaine Classic Friday May 30th and Saturday May 31st. We have 3 athletes headed to Eugene to compete this weekend; Mike Rodgers, Natasha Hastings and Wesley Vazquez. Both the Men’s 100m and Men’s 800m are Diamond scoring events for this meet, with Mike Rodgers in a very good Men’s 100m with 4 runners sub 10.05 already this season. Vazquez will contest the 800m which hopes to see the return of David Rudisha to competition against a field of sub 1:44 half milers. For the Women, Hastings will be back in the open 400m after her success at the IAAF World Relays last weekend. The Women’s 400m is also a Diamond League scored event at Prefontaine this year.
